Wow, that was fun! Jane's Great Dane had its best gig to date this past Sunday at Club Passim in Cambridge. This is one of the most venerable stages in New England, where Dylan, Muddy Waters, Tom Waits, Joan Baez, Tracy Chapman and others have performed. JGD played a set of roughly 20 tunes to a virtually full house, with sparkling originals and interesting treatments of covers. Special moments were Maria's work on my own Ramon and Tracks of My Tears, Steve's "really Rod" take on Reason to Believe, and Jon's tunes. We have been invited to return, so more on that soon.
