Today in my e-mail in-box I found the following note from The Pulitzer-Prize winning, NY Times-top ten selling, National Book Award Finalist, Anthony Doerr. He is author of the amazing novel All the Light We Cannot See. It was an NPR interview with Mr. Doerr that inspired my latest tune, Fingersnap of Time.

Thank you for the CD and the kind letter. I listened to your song just now with my whole family and we were all grooving—love the mood, the refrain, the solos, and especially the vocals. A lovely piece of work.
Just as All the Light We Cannot See was inspired by so many different books, songs, and films, I’m so touched and gratified that my novel, in its small way, might have inspired more art-making in the world.
